I’ve added a new WV WiFi Map in the “WV Maps” menu option that shows the WV Broadband Enhancement Counsil’s ArcGIS data. This is a great tool to find a good spot to sit down and get a little remote work done.
According to an article on Best U.S. Cities for Remote Workers – 2022 – High Speed Internet West Virginia didn’t even make the cut. With programs like Ascend WV where remote workers can receive $12,000 and a year of free outdoor recreation if they move to the Mountain State, it would be nice to see more opportunities pop up in the future.
